Colona House's Mission

At Colona House, our mission is the same as HUD's mission: to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. HUD is working to strengthen the housing market to bolster the economy and protect consumers; meet the need for quality, affordable rental homes; utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life; build inclusive and sustainable communities free from discrimination transforming the way HUD does business.


Providing A Safe and Clean Environment For All Those That Reside At Colona House Is One of Our Top Priorities.

Colona House offers its new residents a clean one-bedroom home. Amenities include a kitchen area, living room, and private bathroom. Shower and tub combinations are in each bathroom. Garbage removal is located on each floor. Each unit is approximately 580 sq. feet in size. Handicapped parking is available for residents' convenience. Small pets are welcome! We also provide security cameras which are located in the halls and the elevator at the residence.

How Do I Know If I Qualify

You can qualify for HUD Housing if your annual income is no more than $34,500 for an individual or $39,450 for a couple. Income Includes:

Social Security
Disability Compensation
Interest Earned on Assets
(Savings Accounts, CDs, etc.)

Out of pocket medical expenses are allowed in calculating the rent, for example:

Doctor Bills
